Small town version of Cheers with good food and great people!

It started out as what was supposed to be a nice date. First, we were asked to move to a smaller table since it was just us two. We completely understood and had no issue moving. 5 minutes later, our drink order was finally taken. My girlfriend ordered an alcoholic beverage, and before I ordered anything, she asked to see both of our ID's. I calmly explained to her that I didn't have my ID on me and didn't order a drink. She then explained that I had to be 21 to just to be in there. I told her that I was 32 years old and then agreed to walk out to my car to get my passport. It was raining that day by the way. I returned and asked if she accepted a United States passport and she emphatically said "NO". I tried explaining that it is an official federal identification, but she did not care. After she blankly stared at my passport for a 5 seconds, I took it back. After that, she told us both to "get out". Worst dining experience of my life. Never in my life have I been treated so poorly in a restaurant. I would give zero stars if possible.

Great food and service. Casual bar and restaurant. Bar down stairs family dining upstairs. Highly recommend.

The buffalo chips and tenderloin sandwich are spot on. Easily one of my favorite places to eat at.

Packed house and late rush handled expertly and with humor. Great bbq chop and sauteed mushrooms. Everything looked good in the place.
